Navigator transmission shudder is getting worse and I'm considering that Sharjah place but Lincoln isn't exactly common here

My 2018 Lincoln Navigator Reserve has been my daily for about two years now and overall I love the thing for hauling the kids and all their sports equipment around but the past month or so there's been this really annoying shudder when the transmission is shifting between fourth and fifth under light throttle and it's starting to feel like driving over a rough patch of road every single time, and my usual mechanic in Dubai who's great with basic maintenance said he doesn't really get into these 10R80 transmissions and recommended I either go to the Ford dealer or find a transmission specialist who's familiar with the American trucks. The dealer quote for a diagnostic alone made me roll my eyes and then they started talking about potential valve body replacement and I just zoned out because I know how this story ends with a number that could cover a family vacation to the Maldives, so I've been hunting for alternatives and stumbled onto this site https://gearboxrepairsharjah.ae/brands/lincoln/ while doom scrolling at midnight and I'm honestly a little surprised they even list Lincoln since you don't see a ton of them around here compared to the European stuff. The website mentions the 10R80 specifically and talks about the common CDF drum failure and valve body issues which tells me they've at least done their homework, but I'm still hesitant because it's Sharjah and I've never taken a car there for work before and I'm worried a Lincoln might be treated like some weird cousin of a Ford that they're not fully comfortable with. Has anyone actually brought their Navigator or Aviator or even an MKC to these guys and can tell me if they really know the ins and outs of these transmissions or if I should just bite the bullet and go to the dealer and accept that I'll be eating rice and beans for the next six months?
