2012 Camry ECU problems – anyone dealt with a faulty computer in Abu Dhabi?
引用于 colinbernard 在 7 4月 2026, 7:29 上午My 2012 Camry has been acting strange for a few weeks – the transmission shifts erratically, the check engine light comes on and off without any pattern, and sometimes the car won't even recognize my key fob. I've already replaced the battery and cleaned the grounds, so I'm starting to think the ECU might be failing. A mechanic friend suggested I look into exoticautoservices.ae/toyota-ecu-repair-abu-dhabi since they apparently can test and reprogram the original unit instead of just swapping in an expensive replacement. Has anyone here actually had their Toyota's computer repaired rather than replaced, and did it solve the weird electrical gremlins? I don't want to spend a fortune on a new ECU if a simple reflash or a capacitor replacement could fix it, but I also don't want to keep chasing ghosts. Any advice on what to look for or who to trust would be great.
